Trip overview
The Tashi Laocha Pass Trek is a beautiful trek with an excellent mixture of Rolwalling valley and the Khumbu region of Nepal. It lies in the Gauri Shankar region of the northeastern region of Nepal. The trail combines lovely views of the Himalayas with slight difficulties in crossing the mountains.
The Tashi Lapcha Pass Trek is one of the most difficult treks due to rockfalls and requires many days of walking along the beautiful glacier. A peak climbing permit for Pachhermo is required while trekking to the Tashi Lapcha pass. All trekkers should be well prepared for iceberg and ice work, as well as have a solid understanding of ice handling. The Tashi Lapcha Pass trek is not only challenging but also a wilderness adventure.
The Tashi Laptsa Pass trek provides a slightly different experience while still providing spectacular views of the high Himalayas. The best times to tour in this region are in the spring and autumn seasons, but we can arrange tours for all year on a camping basis upon your request. The most highlighting part of this trek is Eric Ship Ton, a person who discovered this trekking trail in 1951 while researching Yeti footprints.
