Travel Bureau of Nepal is a travel company registered in the state of New York in the United States.. We have been organizing treks, expeditions, canyoning, culture tour, and Shaman tours since our establishment. We arrange trips as per visitors’ needs, wants, and special interests, for both individuals, and groups. We also operate trips to Tibet, Bhutan, and Ladakh in India. We are an active member of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN), Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), and Nepal Canyoning Association (NCA).
Management
Travel Bureau of Nepal has a team of qualified young, motivated, and energetic professionals who have been handling international clients. All our founder directors are fluent in English, and French language,, and have practical experience in leading trekking, climbing,, and canyoning groups in the Himalayas.
Staff/Team
Travel Bureau of Nepal has a team of qualified, and trained staff to make your trip memorable. We send our staff to training, and refresher courses every year to keep them up-to-date. The courses include responsible tourism training, first aid, language, cooking, team building, hygiene, navigation, etc. Our guides are fluent in English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, and Korean languages. They also have general knowledge about culture, history, nature, and religion, as well as the flora, and fauna of the areas. Guides are government-approved language holders and have been trained in government training institutions. All Nepali staff, including porters, are insured for accidents, and rescue support in any unforeseen circumstances. Porters who trek above 3000m will be provided with a full set of warm clothing including a jacket, trousers, socks, shoes, sunglasses, a warm blanket, and a common tent.
Safety
Since safety is our topmost priority, we do not compromise on the quality of equipment. Our guides are well trained in navigation, and first aid. For high altitude passes, we provide Gamow bags, oxygen cylinders, and medical kits for quick response to altitude sickness, hypothermia, and other injuries. A satellite phone is carried out to establish immediate contact if an emergency helicopter rescue is needed.
Food
Fresh, healthy, and hygienic food is provided. The meal is prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients as much as possible. Our cooks are experienced in preparing various Nepali, Indian, Continental, Italian, and Korean dishes to suit our clients’ palates. To replenish their cooking skills, members of the kitchen crew undertake regular training courses.
Responsible Tourism
“Minimum impact, maximum experience” is our motto concerning ecology. Hence our teams are trained to execute their activities in an environmentally friendly way. Trekking staff take back all the litter produced during trekking to Kathmandu and dispose of it correctly. Trekking staff is encouraged with prizes, and certificates on the annual day of the company for it.
